Endless power and durability

Q-Switched Nd: Yag Infinity Pro dual wavelength (1064 nm/532 nm) is a Q-switched laser mainly used for pigment treatments as well as tattoo removal, peeling or bleaching among others, featured by providing high energy in a very short time (6 nanoseconds).

The Q-Switched Infinity Pro emits a 1064 nm wavelength (optimal on the epidermis), which thanks to the glass of titanyl potassium diphosphate (KTP) is converted to a 532 nm wavelength (effective on the dermis). This frequency doubler allows changing wavelength from 1064 nm (infrared) to wavelength of 532 nm (green) giving the QS-Nd: YAG / KTP two wavelengths into one compact system.

This high energy in such a short space of time produces a photoacoustic effect with mechanical shock on the tissues, focused to fragment the pigment.

The pigment is removed by three possible mechanisms when the Q-switched laser is applied to the skin:

  • Fragmentation of the pigment in small particles (less than 6 microns) to facilitate elimination through phagocytosis via lymphatics.
  • Chemical alteration of the pigment, less visible to the human eye.
  • Pigment can be decreased to some extent by transepidermal elimination.

Beam Features – OPT Technolog

Q-Switched Infinity Pro provides a flat-top beam with an intensity profile, offering a square and stable pulse in all pulses delivered energy. This flat top beam translates into more effective treatments, markedly shortening the number of sessions needed. The flat top beam is in contrast to Gaussian beams, where the intensity smoothly decays from its maximum on the beam axis to zero.

The technology OPT (Optimal Pulse Technology) offers a square and stable pulse in all pulses delivered energy.
